Kathmandu- The government has decided to extend the mandate of the commission investigating the incidents that took place on Bhadra 23 and 24 as Gen-Z strike.
Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications Jagdish Kharel informed that the Cabinet meeting decided to extend the mandate as per the agreement reached between the government and the Gen-Z representatives.
According to the agreement reached between the two parties on Wednesday evening, it was agreed to add five work orders. “As per the agreement, it has been decided to expand the scope of work of the inquiry commission formed as per the decision of the Council of Ministers on Asoj 20,” he said.
Minister of Communications Kharel said that the decision to expand the scope of the commission was made in the context of increasing the scope of its work.
