Gold Up by Rs 2,200 Per Tola; Silver Declines Slightly in Domestic Market

Gold reaches Rs 258,800 per tola on Sunday, Silver trades at Rs 3,825 per tola

Kathmandu– The price of gold continued its upward trend in the domestic market on Sunday, rising by Rs 2,200 per tola compared to last Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 258,800 per tola (11.66 grammes) today. On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 256,600 per tola.

The price of silver, however, declined slightly. Silver is being traded at Rs 3,825 per tola today, down from Rs 3,905 per tola on Friday.

In the international market, gold is being traded at 4,299 US dollars per ounce, while silver is priced at 62 US dollars per ounce, according to international media reports.
