NRNA to Hold 12th Unity General Convention from Feb 23

Convention Scheduled for Feb 23–25 in Kathmandu Following Unity Agreement

Kathmandu– The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) will hold its 12th Unity General Convention from February 23 to 25 in Kathmandu.

The decision was taken by a steering committee meeting held on Sunday after unity was reached among different factions within the association. The dates were officially announced through a joint press release issued by NRNA General Secretaries Gauri Raj Joshi and BR Lama.

The meeting also adopted several decisions aimed at strengthening organizational unity and improving internal management. As part of the unification process, a five-member NCC Unity Committee has been formed under the coordination of Gangadhar Gautam to conclude unity with the National Coordination Committees (NCCs).

Tika Gurung has been named joint coordinator of the committee, while Shani Oli, Narayan Kafle, and Chiranjivi Khadka are members.

According to the association, NRNA will also organize region-level interactions and dialogues to communicate the message of unity among non-resident Nepalis worldwide ahead of the general convention.
