Kathmandu- The Durga Prasai-led National, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Civil Protection Mahaabhiyan has formed a three-member team to engage in talks with the government.
Premdeep Limbu, central secretary of the Mahaabhiyan, will coordinate the negotiations. Other members include Devi Prasad Sangraula and Prem Thapa Magar.
The government had requested the Mahaabhiyan on Sunday to finalize its negotiating team ahead of discussions scheduled for December 2. The group had earlier submitted a memorandum containing 27 demands.
An internal facilitation and problem-solving committee has been formed under Communications Minister Jagdish Kharel to negotiate on issues that can be resolved immediately.
