Kathmandu — The filming of a song from the Nepali film Jhingedau–2 is currently underway at Mrigasthali, located within the Pashupati Temple area.
The special song titled ‘Aama Ko Mahima’ (The Glory of Mother) is being shot at Pashupati. The song features performances by Mithila Sharma and Madandas Shrestha.
Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, the shooting of Jhingedau–2 began on Mangsir 15. The filming started in Panauti, Kavre, and is currently taking place at various locations across the Kathmandu Valley.
According to the production team, the film will be shot in multiple locations including Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur, Sankhu, Tanahun, Bandipur, Devghat, Dolakha, Chitlang, and Palung.
The film stars Saroj Khanal, Aaryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi, Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Kushal Bista, and Basundhara Bhusal, among others.
Jhingedau–2 is being produced under the joint banner of Kapangadhi Cinema Pvt. Ltd. and Film Crew Nepal. The cinematography is being handled by Bishnu Ghimire ‘Kalpit’.
The film is produced by Sulabh Pratik Deuja and Samikshya Deuja, while the story has been written by director Deuja himself. The screenplay has been written by Parichhed Sen, Govinda Fuyal, and Shishir Chalise.
