December — The Election Committee of the Nepali Congress’s Special Central General Convention has made public a revised election schedule, setting voting hours from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
According to the updated timetable released by the committee, the list of candidates will be published at 4:00 PM. Following this, party members will be allowed to file objections to the candidates from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The committee stated that all objections will be reviewed promptly and that the final list of candidates will be made public at 6:00 PM.
Voting for the Special Central General Convention will then begin at 8:00 PM and continue until 1:00 AM, the committee confirmed.
The special convention is being held to address internal organizational matters of the party, with heightened interest from party leaders and delegates.
