Congress Leaders Advise Lekhak to Assist Inquiry Commission

Kathmandu– Nepali Congress leaders think ex-Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak should go to the Gen-Z Movement Inquiry Commission and give his side of the story.

They talked about it at a Nepali Congress Central Committee meeting in Sanepa on Wednesday. Party spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat mentioned they discussed the commission’s letter asking Lekhak to make a statement.

Mahat told reporters after the meeting, We talked about whether the former home minister should go and give a statement. Many leaders felt it’d be good if he showed up and helped out the commission.

The Inquiry Commission has officially called on Lekhak to help with their investigation into the Gen-Z movement. But, Lekhak hasn’t said yet if he’ll listen to the summons and go to the commission.
