Kathmandu: Siddhartha Bank Limited has appointed Rameshwor Prasad Basyal as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decision was taken by the bank’s management committee.
Basyal, who had been serving as the Deputy CEO, will officially assume his role as CEO from February 25, according to the bank. He brings nearly two decades of experience in the banking sector.
He joined Siddhartha Bank in 2005 and has held various key leadership positions within the institution. Prior to his association with Siddhartha Bank, Basyal worked at Nabil Bank, one of Nepal’s leading commercial banks.
The bank has expressed confidence that Basyal’s long experience, institutional knowledge, and leadership capabilities will contribute to strengthening Siddhartha Bank’s operational efficiency and strategic direction.
