Kathmandu- The International Cricket Council (ICC) has extended its congratulations to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) following the successful conclusion of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
In a letter addressed to CAN Chair Chatur Bahadur Chand, ICC Chair Jay Shah praised the association for organizing the tournament and expressed confidence that CAN would reach new heights under Chand’s leadership.
Shah highlighted that the NPL not only provides a platform to nurture emerging cricket talent but also strengthens Nepal’s presence on the international cricket stage. He further commended the league’s organizational standards and the quality of the matches, describing them as exemplary.
Wishing continued success to CAN, Shah emphasized the association’s role in promoting cricket and fostering its development across Nepal.
