SEE examinations to begin from Chaitra 19

Grade 10 exams postponed due to elections, will run until Chaitra 29, says Examination Controller

Kathmandu — The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of Grade 10 will be conducted from Chaitra 19 to Chaitra 29, the Office of the Controller of Examinations has confirmed. Although the examination was originally scheduled for the first week of Chaitra according to the academic calendar, it was postponed due to the upcoming elections.

Examination Controller Tukraj Adhikari said the decision to conduct the SEE from Chaitra 19 has now been finalized. He stated that all preparations are being aligned with the revised schedule to ensure the examinations are held smoothly across the country.

According to the examination schedule released by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, the first day will include compulsory English and compulsory Sanskrit composition examinations. On the same day, students studying in madrasas will appear for the compulsory Arabic language examination.

On the second day, students enrolled under mandatory Nepali and non-resident Nepali categories will sit for the additional English examination. Other subject examinations will continue on subsequent days as per the routine, and the examinations will conclude on Chaitra 29.

The examination office has stated that detailed routines have been distributed to schools and examination centers, and necessary coordination with concerned bodies has been ensured following the change in dates.
