The Ujjaya Nepal Party and the Sarvodaya Party reached a three-point agreement to work together in the upcoming elections. According to party sources, the alliance reflects a broader effort to consolidate emerging political forces outside traditional party structures.

The Sarvodaya Party was recently formed under the leadership of Deepak Sah, following a split from the Janamat Party, which is chaired by Dr CK Raut.

Three-Point Agreement

According to the agreement reached between the two parties:

Common Election Symbol:
The parties will contest the upcoming elections using a lit torch as their shared election symbol.

Joint Manifesto:
A common election manifesto will be jointly prepared, reflecting shared political priorities and policy commitments.

Unity of New Forces:
Both parties agreed to keep open the path for broader unity among new political forces, signalling the possibility of further alliances in the future.

The alliance comes amid ongoing realignments among newer political groups following internal splits and leadership disputes. The Sarvodaya Party’s decision to align with the Kulman Ghising-backed Ujjaya Nepal Party is being viewed as a significant development within the evolving landscape of alternative political movements.
