Balen Shah Secures Jhapa-5 Ticket From Janakpur

Kathmandu — Senior leader of the rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balendra Shah (popularly known as Balen), has secured the party’s ticket for the House of Representatives election from Jhapa Constituency No. 5.

The ticket was formally handed over in Janakpur by party chairperson Rabi Lamichhane during a party meeting held there. Both Lamichhane and Shah had arrived in Janakpur to participate in the meeting, where the decision was finalized.

Shah’s candidacy from Jhapa-5 is being viewed as a strategic move by the RSP as it intensifies preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
