Kathmandu- Nepal suffered a seven-wicket defeat against Bangladesh in the ongoing ACC U19 Asia Cup at the Seven Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to field first. Nepal managed 130 runs in 31.1 overs, losing all wickets. Abhishesh Tiwari was the top scorer with 30 runs, followed by Ashish Luhar with 23 and Sahil Patel with 18.
In response, Bangladesh reached the target in 24.5 overs for the loss of three wickets. Zawad Abrar led the innings with an unbeaten 70 off 68 balls, while Kalam Siddiki contributed 34 runs from 66 balls. For Nepal, Abhishesh Tiwari and Yubraj Khatri claimed one wicket each.
Bangladesh’s bowling was led by Md Sobuj, who took three wickets, while Saad Islam, Azizul Hakim, and Shahriar Ahmed chipped in with two wickets apiece.
